December 2017 Update
We live in an age where the Internet and all of its glory is trolled by nefarious people out to cause damage, mis-inform and harass. The harassment does not stop at the personal level but also corporate and business levels also, heck even some lawyers are involved with this. Sadly, there are those backed by attorneys who purposely live to cause havoc on legitimate Intellectual Property owners.
All of this is called Cyber Bullying. It is frowned on and illegal in many countries. Nonetheless, it continues because sometimes people do not stand up to bullies. The best part is, that if you do stand up to a cyber bully, they either back down or overstep their bounds. In essence, they make false statements, inaccuracies and open themselves up to legal and monetary damages.
Take the time to look at some links on Cyber Bullying:

Update 2017
Recently, we upgraded the server to a more secure server and in doing so, we lost some of the databases, forums and .DLL files.

Please be patient. We are in the process of restoring this website back to a more recent backup that included everything you have come to rely on for DLL.COM.

Also, we are in the stages of a redesign, more content and business direction for DLL.com.

Thank you all for your patience.

DLL.COM Pixel and Adspace goes LIV
We have decided to sell ad space and pixels on our DLL.COM website.
We think that this is very reasonable and are no longer accepting bids on this domain.

Most of the bids to date either could not match the asking price OR their backing fell through. So we decided to do this instead.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us.

Thank you!

Dynamic Link Library, a library of executable functions or data that can be used by a Windows application. Typically, a DLL provides one or more particular functions and a program accesses the functions by creating either a static or dynamic link to the DLL. A static link remains constant during program execution while a dynamic link is created by the program as needed. DLLs can also contain just data. DLL files usually end with the extension .dll,.exe., drv, or .fon.

A DLL can be used by several applications at the same time. Some DLLs are provided with the Windows operating system and available for any Windows application. Other DLLs are written for a particular application and are loaded with the application.

Delay Locked Loop, Delay-Locked Loop (DLL) supports high-bandwidth data rates between devices. These DLLs are circuits that provide zero propagation delay, low-clock skew between output clock signals throughout a device, and advanced clock domain control. These dedicated DLLs can be used to implement several circuits that improve and simplify system level design.
These are just a few samples of what DLL stands for. To learn more, Google DLL and you will see that DLL stands for hundreds of different meanings.
